NFL Betting: Who to Back in the AFC & NFC Championship Battles
And then there were four….
The lineup for Super Bowl 54 is starting to get clearer with massive favorites Baltimore Ravens among those who fell by the wayside after the NFL playoffs ahead of what promises to be two titanic Championship clashes.
AFC Championship Game – Tennessee Titans @ Kansas City Chiefs
Most US sportsbooks see the Chiefs as the big favorite in this clash but that doesn’t mean the Titans can’t pull off something of a shock win at the Arrowhead Stadium this weekend, especially given they saw off the New England Patriots in the Wildcard round.
That said the Chiefs are hugely impressive on offense, averaging 37.6 points per game in their last three playoff matchups while the Titans have an average of 20.7 over the same period.

NFC Championship Game – Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49ers
While it’s true that the 49ers are the big favorite for the the NFC Championship we feel it’s worth considering putting a cheeky wager on the Packers to win on the road.
Green Bay is an impressive 11-6 against the spread this season, the third best record in the NFL this term, and we are talking about a side who finished the regular season with a strong 13-3 record.
It is worth noting though that when the two sides faced off earlier in the campaign, it was the 49ers who ran out big winners at 37-8 back in November, the Packers haven’t lost since, hence the good NFL odds you can get on a shock victory for Matt LaFleur’s team..
