Back England for Euro2020 Glory as Rival Nations Struggle to Impress

The pursuit of Euro2020 success is well on the way with the latest set of international fixtures bringing us a few steps closer to knowing just who will make it to the showpiece tournament, which this time around will take place across multiple countries across Europe.

England impressed many with their run to the World Cup semi-finals last summer and understated boss Gareth Southgate continues to impress as coach to a young squad that is making light work of qualification.

Big wins over the Czech Republic, Montenegro and Bulgaria have been all the more impressive given the raft of young talent that Southgate has called upon and more experienced stars like Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling have shown just how deadly they can be at the highest level.

England have racked up a healthy total of 13 goals in those three fixtures and can probably afford to allow youngsters like Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount, as well as Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho, a chance to show what they can do in the Three Lions colors.

Meanwhile however it’s interesting to see other big nations failing to be quite so deadly in their mission to make it to the finals.

Germany sit behind Northern Ireland in Group C, Portugal are eight points of Group B leaders Ukraine and France sit in a three-way tie at the top of Group H.

It’s true however that Spain and Italy have impressed, both countries having 100% records after six games and Belgium are continuing to be a force to be reckoned with under Roberto Martinez.

When it comes to Euro2020 betting odds of 9/2 on England could prove tempting and may well lengthen in the coming months.

Italy can be found at odds as long as 14/1 and another interesting potential Euro2020 bet to consider could be in the form of Russia, with 80/1 being offered by some sports betting providers.
