Juventus Want Manchester City Goal Machine In Summer Transfer

Serie A side Juventus are looking to improve their attacking options this summer and have targeted a number of possible additions with Man City’s Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus apparently high up on their wish-list.

In many ways the 23-year-old Etihad Stadium star is under-appreciated by the Premier League side, chiefly as he has spent the past three and a half years behind a certain Argentine hot-shot by the name of Sergio Aguero.

Even though Jesus has been used sparingly by Pep Guardiola it’s clear that the lethal finisher is a player with great potential.

Jesus has managed to rack up 63 goals from his 139 appearances for Manchester City and that stat is all the more impressive when you consider 58 of those games were from the bench, such is the level of his finishing ability.

Juventus are apparently ready to call time on Gonzalo Higuain’s career in Turin and clearly Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t getting any younger and as such the Italian would be wise to plan for the future.

By all accounts another forward high-up on Maurizio Sarri’s list of targets is Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi, who is currently on loan at PSG, and the capture of either of these forwards will surely lead to Juventus having to spend upwards of $100m in the transfer market

Juventus were narrowly leading the Italian top tier before the outbreak of the coronavirus and they were being severely challenged, for a change, by the likes of Lazio and Inter Milan when the league came to a halt last month.
