La Liga Futures Betting: Bet on Real Madrid to Edge Arch-Rivals Barcelona
If we are being honest neither Barcelona or Real Madrid have been at their very best this season but the lack of genuine challengers outside the ‘Big Two’ means that the La Liga title race will still be a battle of these arch rivals.
When it comes to La Liga futures betting most US Sportsbooks are pushing hard on Catalan side Barcelona, My Bookie odds show the Nou Camp outfit as favorites at -250, but there is no reason Zinedine Zidane’s side can’t win the La Liga crown, in fact their overall form is very more measured than Ernesto Valverde’s.
Barcelona do sit on the top of the table but only by two points and there total of three defeats is already the same as the entire previous campaign, indicating that Lionel Messi’s side are not on an upward climb.
Real Madrid however have only have one defeat this term and have the ability to go on a strong run from here on in. Zidane’s side do lack goals but fortunately Karim Benzema has really stepped up this term.
If new signings Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic start to deliver then the chances of a Real title triumph would increase. A lot could also depend on how both clubs progress in the Champions League, a long run for either could conversely negatively affect their chances of domestic success.
So if Real Madrid do not manage to overcome Manchester City in the last 16, and that’s a tough fixture for both clubs, then this could have the knock on effect of aiding their title challenge.
Zidane picked up three Champions League titles during his previous stint in charge at the Bernabeu but just the one La Liga crown and as such the French legends may in fact value beating Barcelona in this race over another European triumph.
