NFL Star Rob Gronkowski to Reunite With Tom Brady Following Tampa Bay Buccaneers Move
30-year-old tight end Rob Gronkowski has come out of a short retirement and completed an exciting move to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he will once again line up with former New England Patriots team-mate Tom Brady.
Gronkowski retired soon after helping New England to the 2019 Super Bowl and as such his move to Tampa Bay means that the Patriots have been traded a fourth-round draft pick in return for the deal.
2021 Super Bowl Odds
Kansas City Chiefs +520
Baltimore Ravens +590
New England Patriots +860
San Francisco 49ers +860
New Orleans Saints +1200
Philadelphia Eagles +1400
Green Bay Packers +1550
The three-time Super Bowl winner has been keeping busy, and fit, during his time away from American Football. Gronkowski interestingly recently took part in WWE and won the 24/7 title at Wrestlemania 36 this month.
Gronkowski lined up for nine seasons alongside Brady at New England and their reunion is sure to lead to an increase in betting interest in the Bucs for the 2021 Super Bowl.
Brady’s deal is worth a whopping $50m for the two years of his Tampa Bay contract and one imagines that Gronkowski, who had a year to run on his Patriots deal worth $9m a season, is also earning a big pay increase from this surprise switch back into the NFL.
