Tiger Woods & Tom Brady to Take Part in Golf Fundraiser for Covid-19 Relief

Next month sees four sporting legends go head to head in The Match: Champions for Charity with golfing greats Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson playing alongside NFL legends Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

With a lack of professional sporting action of any sort worldwide the opportunity to see some top-level action, while raising money for charity, comes as a welcome relief for those seeking a sporting fix.

The event doesn’t have a concrete date as yet but Mickelson himself tweeted out about the encounter, no doubt keen to resume his rivalry with 15-time major winner Woods.

Details of how and where the tournament will take place are scarce at present but it is said to be due to happen in May and will be broadcast live on TNT.

The PGA tour was brought to a screeching halt when The Players Championship was canceled on March 12th and as yet there is little sign of things getting back underway anytime soon.

Six-time Super Bowl winner Brady has recently joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers having brought an end to his 19-year spell as a New England Patriot and will no doubt be keen to outdo fellow NFL QB Peyton Manning.
