Wilder vs Fury Betting: Expect The Heavyweight Clash to Go the Distance

Two heavyweights in the boxing world go toe to toe in Las Vegas this weekend as American fighter Deontay Wilder takes on British bruiser Tyson Fury in a hotly anticipated rematch that promises to be quite a spectacle.

The two boxers fought out an entertaining draw back in December 2018, in Los Angeles, and the betting is very tight indeed.

The main betting shows Wilder as a narrow favorite over Fury but remember both fighters are yet to taste defeat and as such this is a very hard contest to call. Perhaps a more interesting bet would be on how long the contest will last.

Intertops as the Over/Under at -140 for OVER on the total rounds being above 10.5 and that seems about right as neither of these guys is going to go down lightly and it’s very likely that any decision will be once all 12 rounds are completed.

Indeed another draw isn’t off the table and you can get a massive +1800 on such an outcome, and if you are a punter looking to go for the outside bet then that is one eventuality worth considering.

Wilder’s record of 43 fights, 42 wins (with 41 KOs) and a draw, would be startling enough but take into account that his opponent, burly Tyson Fury, is also sporting a superb record of 29 wins (20 KOs) and the draw from his last encounter with Wilder.

Fury cuts something of an amateurish figure in terms of his physique but he has proven that his defeat of Wladimir Klitschko back in 2015 was not a one-off.

Expect a real titanic struggle and a hugely enthralling contest and one that is sure to create a fair bit of betting revenue for the US Sportsbooks.
