2020 Super Bowl: Top Five Prop Bets

We are now just days away from Super Bowl 54 where the Kansas City Chiefs will go head to head with the San Francisco 49ers in what promises to be an explosive encounter in Miami, Florida.

If you are looking to make your Super Bowl day even more enjoyable you are probably looking for a great bet or two to back.

Well this is very much the age of the prop bet and there are, by all accounts, over 1000 to choose from ahead of the big clash on February 2nd.

It’s hard to imagine that around a decade ago there was a push to ban prop bets in US Sportsbooks but they are proving as popular as ever.

Here are just a handful of those on offer.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes scoring the last TD (+2000)

Clearly quarterbacks are more suited to throwing in the touchdown pass but there is always the chance that a QB will get in close enough to run one in on his own and the odds offered on Mahomes doing so are frankly well worth a wager.

Donald Trump to Not Tweet throughout the Super Bowl (-150)

Yes we know that the troubled US president likes to tweet, but it’s worth noting that he didn’t send out any Twitter tirades during the last Super Bowl, so maybe this is worth a bet.

How Many Super Bowl commercials will star dogs? Over 3.5 (-120)

The Super Bowl has become almost as much about the grandiose advertisements shown before, during and after the big event as the game itself. Let’s be honest, it’s very likely that a lovable pooch will be involved in many of them.

Will any player propose to their girlfriend after the game? Yes (+500)

The romantic in us hopes that this bet comes in!

San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to win MVP (+300)

Frankly the market for Patrick Mahomes is just not worth it and therefore a wager on 49ers QB getting the MVP nod are worth pursuing.
