NFL Playoff Predictions: Who Will Make it to the Postseason?

As the NFL regular season comes closer to completion the playoff picture is starting to get clearer and the time might be right to start placing your NFL postseason bets.

Only three sides have made it through to the playoffs thus far, those being the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and the New Orleans Saints. That means there are still nine spots up for grabs.

In the AFC the New England Patriots are likely to pip the Buffalo Bills in the East, with Buffalo a good bet for a wildcard entry to the second half of the campaign. In the AFC South it’s a big battle between Houston Texans and Tennessee and we’d go for Houston clinch it.

We’d also predict that the Pittsburgh Steelers, just ahead of the Titans and the Browns are present at 8-5, should secure the other wild card of the AFC

Over in the NFC it’s only the New Orleans Saints who have mathematically secured progress to the playoffs but the San Fransico 49ers and Green Bay Packers should definitely be among the final 12.

We think that it will be the Seattle Seahawks and the Minnesota Vikings going in via wildcards and that leaves an interesting tussle between NFC East’s Dallas and Philadelphia, both of whom have a negative record at present, with 6-7.

We think that the Philadelphia Eagles will edge it due to the poor recent form shown by the Cowboys.

The season has been an exciting one for sure and we expect the anticipation to grow over the final three weeks of the regular season before the real fun gets underway!
