San Jose Earthquakes Secure Amazing Comeback Win Against Vancouver

When it comes to exciting sporting activity since the coronavirus pandemic outbreak there are few leagues showing as much by way of entertainment than the MLS and this week saw a truly memorable match-up as the San Jose Earthquakes pulled off a superb comeback win over the Vancouver Whitecaps.

The win ended a nine-match winless streak and put them top of Group B in the tournament. Speaking after the win San Jose boss Matias Almeyda was full of praise for his side, stating;

“What we saw was a team that maintains an identity in the face of adversity, A team that stuck to its style, respects each opponent and never gives up. It’s a great group and I’m proud of the group … and even more than that I’m thankful.”
