This year’s Super Bowl promises to be one hell of a show. The two sides who will fight it out in Miami on Sunday 2nd of February have waited a long time to taste the glory of an NFL Championship and the betting on the encounter is tight to say the least.
The marginal favorites to win the 54th Super Bowl are Kansas City Chiefs with Quarterback Patrick Mahomes the star performer to watch as the AFC Championship holders take on the San Francisco 49ers.

The Chiefs have won just one Super Bowl and that came back way back in the 1969 season while the 49ers haven’t won since 1994, though San Francisco have at least more recently reached the set piece finale more recently, when they lost 34-31 to the Baltimore Ravens.
It’s fair to say that head coach Kyle Shanahan has worked something of a miracle to get the 49ers to this point given that last term his side finished 4-12 and had not recorded a winning season since 2013. This time around their 13-3 record was based a great deal off the back of a phenomenal showing by QB Jimmy Garoppolo.

The Chiefs, under the guidance of coach Andy Reid who is in his 20th straight season as an NFL coach, finished with a 12-4 regular season. Mahomes will be the man to watch and he’ll have to be on his top game to overcome the 49ers in what is likely to be a high-scoring clash.
A fair many pundits are still backing the 49ers to overcome the Chiefs, stating that San Francisco’s running game will prove impossible to stop, but we think Kansas has the ability to score big and we’d back then to shade the game.
